Compare rental applications consistently
Comparing applications means more than reading a single number. A useful process makes the same information easy to find for each applicant and separates declarations from details that still need checking.
Start with a consistent set of information
Review each application using the form’s common fields: declared situation, income and other information provided. A consistent presentation makes differences easier to identify without relying on the order in which messages arrived.
Read the full responses. Missing information is not the same as unfavourable information, and an unfamiliar answer may simply require a conversation with the applicant.
Treat summaries as reading aids
Homaloc analyses the information entered to help your team review applications. A summary can draw attention to a point worth checking, but it does not establish that the applicant’s declarations are accurate.
Generated scores and comments do not replace reading the application or carrying out your own checks. They can contain errors. Return to the original responses when something appears inconsistent and clarify any ambiguous details.
Separate declarations from verification
Information entered in a form is different from a verified document. An applicant stating that a document is available does not mean Homaloc has checked its contents.
Keep a clear record of your own checks in your working process. Do not describe an automated analysis as certification of income, identity or document authenticity.
Agree on the next action
Decide whether an application needs clarification, further review or a conversation about a viewing. A status that the whole team understands helps avoid duplicate follow-up requests.
The agency retains responsibility for decisions and communication with applicants. Homaloc organises information and supports review; it does not independently decide who is allocated a property.
