Necessary preferences
The NEXT_LOCALE cookie remembers your chosen language for one year. Local storage homaloc.analytics and its expiry remember your acceptance or refusal of audience measurement for six months. These preferences respect your choice and do not track you across other websites.
Optional measurement
Only after acceptance, session storage homaloc.measurement-session links events to a random identifier. It rotates daily and disappears when the browser session ends. Events are sent through the website to our Umami instance.
This mechanism loads no advertising tools. Your messages are not sent to audience measurement.
Choosing and changing your mind
When measurement is enabled on the website, “Decline” and “Accept” buttons appear in the consent banner. The “Privacy · analytics” button at the bottom of the page reopens your choice. Refusing does not prevent access to the service.
Acceptance and refusal both last six months. You can also clear cookies and site storage in your browser, after which you may be asked again. With Do Not Track enabled, no measurement is sent even if you accept.
Website and application
Preferences are specific to each website or subdomain. The application at app.homaloc.com also uses mechanisms necessary for login, display and protecting imports made without an account. These are explained in the application’s privacy policy.
